Midmill Primary School

Aberdeenshire Council constructed a new campus to allow for the substantial growth the primary school has seen over recent years. This is a ground-breaking project for an exciting new learning space.

Project Overview

The main contractor, Morrison Construction, contracted General and Technical to supply and install floor and wall works throughout this newly built school. We were also asked to assist in the specification of carpet tiles, vinyl, linoleum and Altro Whiterock wall panelling.

Collaboration was key

To ensure success, we worked closely with the project architects to determine the most suitable products always keeping design, functionality, durability and material standards at the forefront of our mind.

Tailored to the user

We introduced the impact resistant product Whiterock, by Altro, to achieve a vibrant colour scheme for the school, with each room colour themed to represent the various areas and appeal to the various age groups of the children that would be using each room.

Skilled installation

Our team have the trained skills necessary to install Whiterock. This product is similar to the installation of a floor vinyl requiring accurate cutting, careful application of adhesive and hot welding joins.
