Project Overview
Sometimes pictures just don’t do a job justice. This project was one of the most labour-intensive one-off projects we have ever completed. The work was carried out as part of a wider refurbishment that would result in the permanent relocation of NHS Grampian’s Eye Outpatients Department (EOPD) to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
A project of immense scale
NHS Grampian are quite rightly very stringent on the finished installation. We installed over 3000m2 of resilient flooring, including fitting a lot of smaller, areas all coved up at the perimeters and incorporating border work and shapes.
Precision fitting
This really was a true test of our fitting squads’ abilities. Each weld and mitre had to be to a high standard with infection control always a consideration once the area was in use. Every section had to be templated first and then cut out of the lino before being installed.
