The removal of existing floor coverings and how this is disposed of is becoming a very important consideration when undertaking the replacement of floor coverings. It is no longer acceptable to simply skip the old materials and it is critical that we identify a more sustainable means.
GTFSL have worked with some of our key suppliers to have old or surplus flooring taken back and reused in social housing or sent back for future manufacturing process, i.e. traffic cones or carpet tile backing.
GTFSL have also invested in the right equipment required to strip out all types of floor coverings with state of the art machinery reducing the manual labour aspect and saving time.
The next stage in the project line is flooring preparation.
